There have been several experiments in interpreting human movement through space as music. I'm linking some here for future reference, starting with Jen Lewin's Laser Harps (pictured) - this looks real good, but I don't know how it sounds yet. Must see, though!

2. Sound Suit: This is cool, but I don't like wearable gadgets. I prefer playing the abstract machines of thin air.
